Community sentences are generally felt to be suitable for offenses less serious than those for which imprisonment is appropriate. Currently, the following community sentences are recognized.
- community service
- combination order (i.e., a combination of the above)
- action plan order
- drug testing and treatment order
- attendance order
- supervision order
